Based in Wokingham, we have over 20 staff. We view the brokers we work with – brokers are our sole method of distribution – as partners. We don’t sell direct.
Our regular research with brokers tells us that we are highly regarded by those we work with. Indeed, in the most recent research conducted – independently – on our behalf, brokers described us as accommodating, accurate, fast, flexible, friendly, helpful and reliable. But, most importantly, they regard us as experts in construction and they especially like the fact that they can talk to us. We have also developed other commercial combined products for other trades. We believe in the importance of delivering a ‘human’ service (and the flexibility that ensures) and providing brokers with a named contact. This obviously works, as one broker said: “It’s wonderful to be able to pick up the phone and talk to somebody”.
However, our belief in the importance of ‘human service’, doesn’t mean that we neglect the benefits of technology. We harness technology to help maintain fast and accurate service delivery – whilst maintaining flexibility. We have ambitious growth targets but ones we believe that we can achieve through organic growth, product enhancement/extension, launching new products and focusing on supporting our limited agency base of brokers. However, the company will remain focused on the delivery of an excellent service.
